TAMPA – The Tampa Police Department is investigating at least two shootings overnight.
Around 2:00am, TPD received a call about a male that was found shot in the 1400 block of East 108th Avenue. That male was transported to an area hospital where his condition is unknown. Tampa Police have not released any information on this incident.
A few minutes later, TPD received another shooting call at Club Supa D at 805 East Skagway Avenue. A disturbance of some sort occurred on the dance floor of the establishment and shots rang out. Two victims drove themselves to the hospital and three were transported by paramedics. No life-threatening injuries were reported.
A few blocks away from the Skagway Avenue shooting, a vehicle had struck telephone lines on North 12th Street near East Humphrey Street. The occupants had fled the vehicle before police arrived. Tampa Police have not said whether this crash is related to the Supa D’s shooting.
